Meet the Librarian - Mrs. Hillis
I was born and raised in Owensville, Missouri where I lived with my mom, dad, and younger sister. After graduating high school I moved to Columbia, MO to attend college at Mizzou! I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education (1-6) and my Master's Degree in Library Science and Information Services.
In my free time, I try to spend as much time outside as I can with my dogs and son. If I am not outside I am usually spending time with my family, reading a good book, or watching TV.
We have a furry friend in the library this year. His name is Smaug. He is a certified assistance dog. Smaug is named after the dragon in The Hobbit. He loves coming to school each day.
